Australian Farmer Sculpture

Sculptured by artist Marijan Bekic, the Australian Farmer stands at 44 Eyre Highway, Wudinna and is a reflection of farming in Australia. 

Mount Wudinna

Standing at 283m tall, Mount Wudinna is stated to be the second largest exposed monolith in the Southern Hemisphere. Climb to the top to take in the 360 degree views.

Pildappa Rock

Allow us to introduce you to our very own 'wave rock', located 15km from Minnipa. Climb to the top and take in the impressive view of farming land and the rolling hills of the Gawler Ranges National Park.

**Pildappa is now open to the general public, however minor works are still occuring in the area. Please be mindful of vehicles and workers.**

Tcharkuldu Rocks

A range of granite boulders and caves, just 4km from Minnipa. This is a great place to explore & relax. Free camping is permitted, with donations going to the Minnipa Progress Association.

Polda Rock Reserve

Our local water catchment, where the locals go to see a 'sea breeze' on those hot summer days. This is also a great place for avid bird watchers! 

Pygery Rocks

A scattering of granite outcrops, this is another popular spot for birdwatching. You can also explore and climb the assortment of rocks and study the historic Government tank.

Turtle Rock

Pull off to the left to see Turtle Rock on your way around Wudinna's 'Granite Trail'.
Local tip: The best view is from the top of Mount Wudinna!

Ucontitchie Hill

Located 32km southwest of Wudinna, this natural granite sculpture is renowned for its display of geological features. Entry to the rock is by gold coin donation.

Wudinna Bike/Walk Trail

Looking to stretch your legs? Cycle or walk from Wudinna to Polda Rock! A 14km round trip, the trek features several seating areas where you can take in the views & local artworks.
